It's done! Yard is complete and the hill has been landscaped. We have our walk through next week and then we get the keys! So exciting....looking back it went up pretty fast. The time has flown by and it seems like yesterday we were looking at an empty dirt lot! We could not be more happy with it.....we love every part of it and can't wait to move in!

Avery's First Dentist Visit
Avery had her first dentist visit this week. We tried to do it 6 months age and she wouldn't even sit on my lap to let the Dr. see her teeth. Amazing what a few months will do! She watched Kenadee go first and that took away much of her worry. We LOVE our dental hygienist, Janice. She is so awesome with the kids....Avery felt right at home with her. Only downfall....we had one cavity! But we are happy that we caught it early...so small he might not even need to use anesthetic. So we had a great first time experience! Thank you Dr. Munson's office!

We Love Disneyland!
I love that we were able to get Disneyland passes this summer! Avery is the perfect age and we can just go for a few hours. Her favorite ride is Winnie the Pooh....ooohhh how I get tired of that ride, she can literally spend all day on that one ride! It is her "bery" favorite! Kenadee and I love getting the chimichangas...it looks soooo nasty, but it is sooo good! Who knows what is inside of that thing, but we love it!

Week 11....
House is looking great! I love more each time we visit! The first picture is from the backyard up on the hill...the backyard is a good size flat area and then it slopes up to a hill. Figure the kids will have a great time running up and down the hill and hitting balls up there where I do not have to worry about any windows getting broken! The granite is in and it looks soooo good! All the surrounding walls are complete and thinking the flooring and landscaping will be done this week! Closing on Aug. 11th...so this might be the last time they allow us to walk around in it. After the flooring goes in...they lock the door! Excitement is building to finally get to move in....

Naughty, Naughty!
On Friday we ended up going to Bill's football office to utilize the air cond. since it was another 103 degree day. Kenadee had woke up barfing with a touch of the flu and we thought she would feel better in cool air. The office is actually nice, it has 3 leather couches and 2 rocking recliner chairs so there is plenty of room for each kid to have their own space. There is also a huge flat screen TV in order to watch Disney channel. And of course computers for me to play on all day. Well Ms. Avery does not sit and watch TV like the other kids do, so she found her own fun. She managed to erase a lot of daddy's football board with all of his current plays and other semi-important things on it. When we had her turn around this is what we found! The white board eraser had found its way all over her face! As you can see, she is not to happy!

Night Swimming
This is how we were beating the 100* heat wave this week. At 11pm we through all the kids in the pool. As you can see it was still 80 degrees. With no air cond. we had to find something to cool us off each night. The kiddos loved swimming at night with the pool lights on and it being totally dark all around us. The kids have tried to make this a nightly habit!

Raging Waters!
We broke down and decided to go for the Raging Waters passes again. I was not planning on getting them, but my cousin Katie needed a friend to get one with her and we felt that Kenadee was not old enough to go by herself. So I tromp all the kids down there once a week....sometimes twice when it is really hot! Avery loves it, I can't keep her out of the water. Bryce was so good with her...he took her in swimming and held her hand all over the park. She often wants to just sit and swim...she is not much into the slides. But I love the little kid area that they offer, then there is no worry that a bigger kid is going to jump on her! We enjoy it, looking forward to the day I can buy them for the older kids and just drop them off. But for now....I go too!

Zernickow Lemonade Stand
So my kiddos had this bright idea to give away plums in front of my mom's house last week. They have a plum tree and it was full! So they stood out front handing out plums to everyone that drove by. Wellll....people started giving them a dollar here and a dollar there for the plums even though the kids insisted they were free. SOOOO...after an hour of that I suggested they add lemonade to the mix. Give a cup of lemonade and a plum! WHOA.....who says you can't make money selling lemonade! These kids made $46 in the short time they were out there. I was pretty impressed with the whole thing. People just loved them....I think I am going to send them out there more often!

Angel's Fanfest!
We were so blessed to be given tickets to the Angel's Fanfest and Celebrity All-Star game this year. Bryce was in heaven! We spent many hours at the convention center viewing all the sights and Bryce enjoyed doing some of the interactive activities. There was only 2 tickets to the game so Bill took Avery home and Bryce and I headed over to Angel stadium! arrived at 3pm and stayed until 8. The seats were fantastic, right on the field. We were able to see many of the legendary players as well as the celebrities. What a great day...thank you Mr. Kolbeck!!!!

Aquarium of the Pacific
We took the kids to the Aquarium Of the Pacific for the first time yesterday. They really enjoyed it. It is quite small, but there is a lot of interactive things for the kids to do. They also have an outdoor lagoon that has shark tanks and big stingray tanks that allow you to touch the animals. Avery was as usual, very scared at first. It took all day to get her to sit in front of the glass for a picture. She thought they would be able to get her through the tanks! So funny....but towards the end of the day she was wanting to touch and feel all the slimy creatures. We love "Uncle Tyler" who met us down there. He is so great with the kids and they get so excited when he comes with us. It was a great day...we ended up staying until 7pm!

Week 9....
The house looks great! The entire outside has been painted...and I must admit...it is not as bad as I thought it was going to be! The cabinets have been installed and they look great too! They started putting in the brick wall on the side of the house, but it is not quite finished. Bill and the kids are standing in the master walk-in closet, that could be used as another room! It is WAY to big for us, but we will make do. Maybe we will have to adopt a baby to occupy all the space! :} Anyhow...starting to get excited now...counting down the days until we get to move in (I am sure my parents are too!) LOL!
4th of July!!!
We had a blast on 4th of July. We BBQ'd with the whole family. Jen and the kids came, Aunt Sue with Katie, Tanja, and all of us. We swam and ate yummy food and then headed to see the fireworks at the Lutheran HS. Avery was still a little timid of the fireworks and how loud they are...but she sat on grandma's lap and tried to enjoy it!
